The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, especially with a wedding celebration adding to the buzz. Despite the busy setting, we were exceptionally well cared for, even the manager came by our table to ensure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Opus One if you’re in Cavan. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the menu offers standout dishes like the best chicken burger I’ve ever had and delicious brie.

Despite the limited menu with just two starters and mains, the quality was outstanding. The starters included a vegetable soup and a tasty chicken vol-au-vent. For the main course, I chose between stuffed chicken breast and baked salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly, avoiding the common pitfall of overcooking. The roast vegetables, such as carrots and beetroot, were flavorful and beautifully presented. The dessert was also delightful. The staff were warm and efficient the entire evening. Highly recommended.

The porn star martini is superb. The food features classic Irish dishes that are tasty, though not exceptional. The service is welcoming, and the space has a great ambiance.

Although the menu didn’t include vegan options, Eoin worked closely with the chef to create some wonderful vegan dishes for my wife. She really enjoyed the vegetable stir fry, while I savored the chicken and vegetable curry. For dessert, Eoin arranged a vegan chocolate mousse for my wife, which she loved, and I had the sticky toffee pudding, equally delightful. We were happy to leave a generous tip as a token of appreciation for Eoin’s outstanding service. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Opus One.
