Was Anonym at Kilmore a mag?
Great hotel, we got married here years ago and the day could not of gone better, the staff are very friendly and helpful, love the big fireplace in the reception longe and the Christmas decorations, the food is great and big portions. We have just visited the Kilmore again and were very happy with the stay, the staff are amazing here. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Kilmore:
Popped in for a lunch while in the road back to the smoke. I had a Reuben sandwich while my other half had what was oddly referred to as a posh BLT. Both were adequate but way overpriced. Two slices of bread in the Reuben and sparsely populated with content. The BLT was encased in an overly toasted bun. Must be the posh bit. including a couple of coffees. Service was good if a little brusque. Not rushing back. View all feedback.
We had our wedding at the Kilmore this month and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The staff at the Kilmore could not do enough for us. Mary and the wedding team made everything flow seamlessly and the wedding package was brilliant. The food was amazing, all our guests commented on it. Anyone looking for a wedding venue we would 1000% recommend Hotel Kilmore
Brought work colleagues for breakfast. Orange juice, coffee, toast and pastries on the side along with full irish, eggs Benedict etc. Great value
What a lovely week we spent here. The staff were lovely, so helpful and accommodating and the food was fantastic. The only reason I didn't give 5* is we went when it was very hot and there's no air-conditioning- though they provided a fan.
So pleased to see this hotel still thriving. My parents first visited in the late 80's, and stayed there several times over 5 successive trips. I was fortunate to accompany them on bits of three of those trips. They would base there and take day trips to Cavan town where they got to know a local Garda, and then go research mom's family in the surrounding area. Staff was always pleasant. The most wonderful memories are of having tea and sandwiches in the hall, and watching wedding parties arrive! On one occasion, we were even invited in to dance and have hor's douvres. (They were delicious! It looks magnificent! Congratulations.
