Instead of dishes like crab, oysters, scallops, mackerel, or monkfish, I was served a dull cod meal that tasted frozen and may not have even been genuine cod. The wine list was limited and not appealing if you dislike spicy wines. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and after this visit, I have no plans to return to the island anytime soon—even after 45 years.

We would consider returning. Tip: Rent electric bikes on the island and explore the Green Route. The views are incredible, with breathtaking seals and beautiful stone walls.

The views are stunning, the food is fantastic, the drinks are top-notch, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. Additionally, there’s a bus service to and from the ferry if you’d rather not walk.
