The... read more We spent one night at this restaurant and will definitely be returning. We enjoyed having a candlelit tea by the fire next to the twinkling Christmas tree. The honeycomb served at breakfast, which was harvested from their own bees, was incredibly delicious. The room was well-lit and the bathroom products were high quality.

After dinner, I enjoyed some drinks with newly made friends in the lounge, where the owner had lit a cozy fire for us. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end.

The hotel is... read more My fiancée and I stayed at Lydford House over the bank holiday weekend and I have to say that it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is situated in a beautiful setting with a lovely exterior. Upon arrival, we received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and has a charming interior. The room we stayed in was absolutely fantastic - spacious, comfortable, and clean. Our first experience in the dining room was on Saturday night for dinner. The staff was attentive and courteous, and the meal was delicious and worth every penny. The following morning, we had breakfast which included a variety of options from cereal, toast, fruit, and a hot menu - all well-presented and tasty. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owners and staff for a fantastic stay, we look forward to returning soon.
