This was the first Dave's Hot Chicken I've had where the reaper is actually reaping! And I've been to every one in Dallas. I had to run back inside to cool my mouth down with water. Ladonna, the GM at the Waco location executed the perfect combination to get that nice spice! I had to give her props face to face for this auspicious experience Thank you so much to the Waco team! Walking inside the building and feeling the vibes of the cool art was alright. But the food on the other hand? Those influencers promoting this food are crazy. Too many “spice levels” to choose between when they all taste like a mouthful of chili powder with each bite. It’s a red 40 attack, I could feel my insides bubbling as I ate.
