Communal - Provo

From the phone call to check on availability to the payment of the bill, everything at communal was top-notch! Everything we ate was prepared with thought and care and the staff was knowledgeable and accommodating to dietary restrictions. If it's still there when you go, try the corn with the miso butter and the pot de creme for dessert! Will definitely be back. Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and felt safe and well accommodated here. There were only a few items that they couldn't adjust to be gf but I was not lacking for choices.

Huge disappointment!! We reserved a table for 4 were dismissed from the table after 90 minutes. They needed the table for the next party. We ordered appetizers, entrees desserts waited on all the courses. Cost for 4 was over $230 without drinks. Small portions, tough steak for $50, burned veggies, overcooked potatoes. If you want high end customers treat them with respect decent food. We won't return.

Recently visited Provo and had to return to Communal, the first time was one of my best meals ever. Walked a mile in the rain to pick up my order, an assortment of their amazing side dishes…it was well worth it.

Always sooooo tasty!! This time they had an amazing pork belly sandwich and a burger to die for!
