Excellent black Pinot 2016 Sandbichler by H. Lun and ginger liqueur served in a particular pipette offered by the very kind and professional owner and his wife. It was a pity to leave this wonderful place.

The inn is in a very strategic position, halfway along the beautiful routes that lead from Casere to the head of the Aurina Valley, and offers a magnificent out... read more The inn is in a very strategic position, halfway along the beautiful routes that lead from Casere to the head of the Aurina Valley, and offers a magnificent outdoor terrace where to have lunch enjoying a magnificent panorama, literally surrounded by the slopes of the mountains and the poderous peaks. The kitchen is not particularly distinguished, but the pappardelle with game ragù, a condiment in reality "add" with various ingredients (funghi, bacon etc...), are however wise and tasty. Inviting also the dish of eggs and speck, served on the classic iron pan, submerged perhaps a little too much from fresh chives. Graded, and really good, the homemade elder liquor. Nice service, with very nice and friendly boys.
