Alprechtalm Prettau - Predoi

Sin to have gone after 10 years of holidays in Valle Aurina, to reach the hut is not difficult, on forest road. for me it was a real surprise flowering meadows, gorgeous pineapple on the tops and glaciers, typical macada very beautiful, although I didn't have lunch I just took a coffee, sin I never left is one of the places in Valle Aurina that I liked most and hope I can come back!!!! !

Leaving the car in Predoi, on the left you go up on an easy path and you get to this hut that offers you the local products. We took a cutting board with cheese and really good meats.

The walk to get to the hut is very beautiful and just before there is also a small but suggestive cascatella. The guy who greeted us at the hut was really nice and nice. We did a snack because we had already had lunch and I really liked it. You pay the right and the malga is really authentic. If it happens, I'll come back very gladly. Certainly the advice.

For many years we have known this malga and every year we return punctually to make the excursion. A couple of hours walk on easy forest from the Predoi sports field and you are in paradise. The environment is really an idyllic, who loves the green mountain and absolute tranquility away from mass tourism, here will be happy! The malga, directed with sympathy from Alois, is rustic and essential, the authentic malga! The menu is also essential but the pure and fresh air of the magnificent terrace and the panorama that you enjoy all around, make it look like a great hotel menu! One of the most beautiful places in the Aurina Valley and perhaps all over South Tyrol.

It was worth it to eat in this hut. I've been here with a part of my family and we've all had a great meal. All very good. Note of merit also goes to the owners, very kind and welcoming people.
