What Michael likes about Bar Marco:
Jason at the bar is gods gift to cocktails. Italian inspired regional cooking. Low key spot, best date night in the city. And they pay their servers salary, as it should be.Food: 5/5 View all feedback. What Althea Champlin doesn't like about Bar Marco:
A cute place that was hard to find since we were not from PA. It's in an old fire engine building. Drinks were really good and I especially loved my espresso martini. Not overly impressed with the food unfortunately. Although my steak was cooked perfectly, the pasta dish with sausage was way too spicy to enjoy. read moreBar Marco is a hidden gem located in an old fire engine building in Pennsylvania. While the food received mixed reviews, with some finding it too spicy or lacking in taste, the drinks were praised for being really good, especially the espresso martini. The atmosphere was described as nice and intimate, with excellent service. The restaurant stands out for its inclusive approach to employee compensation, as tips are already included in the prices. Despite some minor issues, such as the high cost of bread and dipping oil, Bar Marco has received glowing reviews for its unique dishes, exceptional service, and overall dining experience. It is highly recommended for those looking for a memorable meal in Pittsburgh.
