These are hands down the best Empanadas I have ever tasted. Even though we don't live in Pittsburgh, now I am on a mission to find a place nearby that serves Venezuelan food. The food was absolutely delicious, I give it a perfect rating of 5 out of 5.
I absolutely adore this small restaurant! I have enjoyed the eggplant empanadas on two separate occasions. The caramelized corn flour shell is perfectly sweet and delicious. I also indulged in the homemade tres leches dessert which was exceptional. They are open until 8pm, but closed on Sundays. The restaurant appears to be getting more and more popular. They offer a large vegetarian menu and have kid-friendly options available as well.
The restaurant has a good amount of indoor seating as well as a few tables outside on the sidewalk. The food is freshly prepared and incredibly tasty! I tried the vegan chorizo arepa and a black bean empanada, both of which were delicious. They also accommodated my vegetarian request by making my empanada without cheese, and it was still amazing.
