What Traveler's Q dislikes about 40 North At Alphabet City:
The ambience of the restaurant combined with the book store was very cool. Craft cocktails were well made. I got the duck which was not hot when delivered and a little rubbery. The lamb and the beef stew and potatoes were great. The cheese bread was amazing. View all feedback.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. It was my first time trying Georgian Cheese Bread and it was delicious. The staff was also very friendly. I look forward to returning and trying more of their dishes.

We both enjoyed our tasty lamb entrees at the restaurant. The cheesy bread appetizer was delightful. Fred provided us with fast and friendly service.

We really enjoyed our brunch at 40 North. Our favorite dishes were the spaetzle and eggs and the pumpkin bread.

The Beet appetizer is amazing, we have had it before, but go back again and again. So bright and fresh! The sides with the New York Strip were great. the only thing that pulled the rating down was the steak. While it was very flavorful, it was tough. have had the Ribeye before and it was better. the Baked Alaska was luscious! Interesting wines by the glass, I had the Bobal which I have never had before and it was tasty and interesting.

A wonderful dinner. The food was all very delicious. Service was great. Will definitely be back.
