Tired of the German food on your visit to Munich? Make time to visit Bar Tapas lots of small plates, friendly service, lively atmosphere. We went around 7 ish, and we watched the tables fill up (on a Sunday night! . While English wasn't widely spoken, they worked with us and it wasn't a huge barrier. The dishes likely rotate, but from our visit, I would heartily recommend the bacon wrapped dates (how do you go wrong... View all feedback.
What Ruth Wendt doesn't like about Bar Tapas:
The service fast and friendly and atmosphere nice. Having chance to take a look at exposed tapas at the bar and ordering by the number of the dish is practical. The food tastes so-so. View all feedback.
Here I can hardly decide to give two or three points. Once I was very upset about food, I had a pretty bad artichoke place and the service was very unfriendly. But I was another time and I can only say the opposite, delicious food and nice service, which is why I chose three points. Delicious is the roasted chorizo. I don't think you feel comfortable inside, but feel on the street outside in summer You're almost a bit like Spain...
Unfortunately, I can only report negatives here, although the store is always very well visited, maybe I have a bad day... During my visit (although still for my birthday), the staff was so unfriendly that it left me almost all day. In addition, there is a medium-sized selection of different tapas that you can choose at the buffet and then take to the table. The quality is not particularly high, but the location is also cheaper. My recommendation is not! Addendum: 2 years after my last visit I was back and increased my rating to 2 stars, the food was very tasty and cheap (3.90 euros per dish, of which 3 enough to be fed), but unfortunately I am not thrilled yet (too full, too tight, too unpleasant, no good service).
My sister and I enjoyed the tapas. Everything was reasonably priced. We had a bottle of wine and tried the sangria. There is a display of tapas on the bar so it was very easy to order. We accidentally ordered entirely vegetarian and didn’t miss...the meat at all. Our waitress was delightful and spoke impeccable English. Easy to get to via the or Open Sunday.
Ola. I enjoy coming here for a plate of authentic Spanish tapas and a German Bier or two . I have dined here with a Spanish friend and he also agreed this was a good place and reminded him of home . I also been...here a few times on my own and found the bar-staff humorous, friendly and helpful and the general atmosphere is also very nice . I would recommend this place if you from Espana or want a reminder of your Spanish holidays . Muchas gracias .
I was yesterday with another friends in the Bar Tapas Munich. We had a reservation therefore we did not have to wait for a table (on Weekends and Bank Holidays you must make a reservation or you will probably do not get a table)....The place is not small but with too many chairs and small tables. We always had to excuse ourselves passing through people to arrive in our table and to see which tapas we could order because there is no menu for the tapas You have to stand up from your table and see what they are offering for Euros, which is a small portion of tapas. After ordering, one portion of tapas got forgotten in the kitchen and we spoke to the waitress ordering more bread and letting her know that one Tapas was still missing from our order. The missing portion came almost after minutes and she brought than just pieces of bread for people, which ordered a total of tapas. We have ordered once more for bread and she just brought more bread after we have asked it more times and again just pieces of bread. When we ordered again bread she gave us a long look and brought just pieces, which I do not understand why as the bread is included in the price. I would NOT probably go back in this place in Munich as with Euros per person you can eat better and with a better service.
