Innen sind die Tapas ausgestellt: wird auf einem Zettel notiert, dann von Bedienung abgeholt. Lange muss man nicht warten, der tolle Wein oder die super leckere Sangria helfen die Zeit zu überbrücken. Die Nachtisch Platte ist ein muss nach den tollen Tapas. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

The restaurant seems to be popular and was fairly busy even at pm on a Monday n... read more My husband and I had dinner twice at Bar Tapas during our recent stay in Munich. The restaurant seems to be popular and was fairly busy even at pm on a Monday night. Although the menu wasn't in English, we knew from reading the...reviews that we could select tapas by looking at the samples displayed on the bar, and writing down the numbers of the tapas we wanted to try. We tried several different tapas and enjoyed them all, although the ensalada mariscos was my favorite. Both times we visited, the servers were very friendly and helpful and, on our last visit, they gave us each a complimentary glass of liqueur. We would return to Bar Tapas if we were ever in Munich again.

I enjoy coming here for a plate of authentic Spanish tapas and a German Bier or two . I have dined here with a Spanish friend and he also agreed this was a good place and reminded him of home . I also been here a few times on my own and found the bar-staff humorous, friendly and helpful and the general atmosphere is also very nice . I would recommend this place if you from Espana or want a reminder of your Spanish holidays . Muchas gracias .

We had a reservation therefore we did not have to wait for a table (on Weekends and Bank Holidays you must make a reservation or you will probably do not get a table). The place is not small but with too many chairs and small tables. We always had to excuse ourselves passing through people to arrive in our table and to see which tapas we could order because there is no menu for the tapas You have to stand up from your table and see what they are offering for 4.90 Euros, which is a small portion of tapas. After ordering, one portion of tapas got forgotten in the kitchen and we spoke to the waitress ordering more bread and letting her know that one Tapas was still missing from our order. The missing portion came almost after 10 minutes and she brought than just 5 pieces of bread for 4 people, which ordered a total of 15 tapas. We have ordered once more for bread and she just brought more bread after we have asked it more 3 times and again just 4 pieces of bread. When we ordered again bread she gave us a long look and brought just 3 pieces, which I do not understand why as the bread is included in the price. I would NOT probably go back in this place in Munich as with 25 Euros per person you can eat better and with a better service.

The staff was really friendly and made sure we were well comfortable to enjoy our meal. Sometimes a bit slow, but that is because this place gets really busy after sunset. During my visit (although still for my birthday), the staff was so unfriendly that it left me almost all day. In addition, there is a medium-sized selection of different tapas that you can choose at the buffet and then take to the table. The quality is not particularly high, but the location is also cheaper. My recommendation is not! Addendum: 2 years after my last visit I was back and increased my rating to 2 stars, the food was very tasty and cheap (3.90 euros per dish, of which 3 enough to be fed), but unfortunately I am not thrilled yet (too full, too tight, too unpleasant, no good service).
