The sun was shining both days bu... read more We are an Australian couple staying in the neighborhood and visited on Good Friday afternoon and again Easter Sunday afternoon. The sun was shining both days but it was much warmer today (22) compared to Friday (12) so it was much busier today. The beer is great, the food typically Bavarian and the atmosphere terrific with locals enjoying the wonderful setting

The waiter was nice and charming, and the food arrived very quickly. My onion roast beef side dish consisted of 90% fried onions and 10% potatoes, apart from the meat. That's disappointing at that price. I also took my child over to the aprons. It was nice. The beer garden must be great in the summer.

The bar staff appears to be untrained, as all the beers in our group of abo... read more Food: Hearty, meat-heavy, good, traditional fare. The service made several mistakes. The bar staff appears to be untrained, as all the beers in our group of about 30 people were clearly NOT filled to the fill line. Even pointing this out and asking for it to be rectified didn't result in full glasses. Too bad, I won't be back... The ambiance is that of a classic brewery. It has a bit of a train station feel.
