I stopped by for lunch and, while I enjoyed the custom spicy chicken sandwich and the rest of my meal, I feel like I could have found a cheaper option elsewhere.
I visited this Sheetz location and had a really disappointing experience. First, the restrooms were filthy and didn't even have toilet paper. Then, I noticed that employees had their girlfriends and friends hanging out in the aisles, dancing. The outside was just as bad—while I was at pump 3, I found the pumps covered in spider webs and lost track of how many huge spiders were crawling around. There was trash overflowing from the bins as far as I could see. Overall, this is not a well-run business, and I definitely won't be returning to this Sheetz again!
The manager, Nate, intervened to address some rude individuals who were bothering me while I was inflating my tires. He made sure they left me alone and even assisted me in filling my tires correctly. It reminded me of how my dad or grandpa would have handled the situation, given my upbringing around garages. Thank you, Nate!
During my visit to the drive-thru to collect my order, the employee acknowledged me at the window but then completely disregarded my presence. I ended up waiting around 20 minutes, hoping to be greeted and receive my order. Another customer arrived behind me, and I warned him that he might experience a similar wait since I hadn’t been attended to. After waiting for 20 minutes without any service, I chose to go inside to pick up my order. However, it still took several minutes for someone to acknowledge me, despite there being no other customers in line. I noticed five employees behind the counter, yet it took almost 10 minutes before I finally got someone’s attention. When I did, the staff member asked if I needed assistance. I explained that I had placed an online order and had been waiting for quite some time. When I finally received my appetizer sampler, it was cold after a total wait of 40 minutes. My milkshakes had melted to the point where they were barely recognizable, just a liquid. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with the customer service and the long waiting times, both at the drive-thru and inside the restaurant. To make matters worse, I didn’t even receive an apology for the inconvenience.
I visited the restroom before filling up and found it in terrible condition, with no toilet paper available. I also noticed that employees had friends hanging around and dancing in the open areas. The exterior of the establishment was quite uninviting. While at pump 3, I noticed the pumps were covered in spider webs, and I lost count of how many spiders were crawling around. Additionally, there was trash all over the place, overflowing from the garbage bins. Overall, this is not a respectable business, and I seriously doubt I'll be returning anytime soon!
