Carpet either stained or dirty, broken lamp, dusty in spots, Foxtel not available (they said they would fix it but either couldn’t or didn’t). Mirror in bathroom fogs up when showering couldn’t see any exhaust fan.

The only criticism was that the AC compressor was intermittently loud at night. There is no parking on site. The staff were efficient and obliging and the food was good bistro fare.

Accommodation is good with both rooms and bistro having good fresh modern decor.

Can forgive the few rude staff, (one... read more Really disappointed there are only 2 tables in the area shown on the website. We were basically seated in a noisy busy bar! Can forgive the few rude staff, (one who brought wine to the table and announced Who 's is this and when asked what it was said I dunno as it 's hard to get well trained staff in hospitality at the moment, and several of the girls were awesome. Not so forgiving of the arrogant chef who said I couldn 't get hand cut chips with my salmon (even though I offered to pay extra because they were for the steak dishes then they served them to my partner who ordered the fish and chips. Restaurants can 't afford to be mediocre in the current climate so thanks but we won 't be returning.

Even though they delivered this news in a very unsympathetic manner, I could accept that something probably did go wrong, and being New Years they likely were packed, but they fact that they clearly didn 't follow up with Open Table left me annoyed. This much was apparent as I continued to get the how did you enjoy your experience at Coppersmith and please review messages. The one star review can therefore be considered a comment on both the restaurant and Open Table.
