This place is so nostalgic to Lowell. I remember being a kid and smelling the flowers and eating a lemon/orange twisty cone with the candy eyes. Now I still get that but with sprinkles because I am AN ADULT. Lol. Also I love that they still do cash only. It’s part of the nostalgia and it helps the business stay open. For those who don’t carry cash, instead of complaining and moaning about not carrying cash on you, there’s a lovely bank right across the street if you happened to forget. ;
Many times we would go here and the place was closed even though it was during open hours. They don’t take debit cards but have an ATM on site and charge you huge fees so make sure you have cash with you. Not the best customer service. They block the sidewalk with employees cars on Jefferson St. This place seems highly overpriced and overrated, it is just a typical ice cream place.
