Was ViaBen at Yeast Bakery a mag?

We went for a late lunch on a quiet weekday and it was fantastic. The toasties were delicious, the flan (a rare find in London) perfect, the bread good and even their coffee is not bad. Airy and modern sitting area, friendly and efficient service and you can even peak to the kitchen area where the magic happens. View all feedback.

What a shame….. We were so exciting to visit this place for the very first time. We have heard so much about it . The food is really good and the pastries very freshly baked. The whole place looks very good and well decorated. Beautiful atmosphere and speculative space. we had hot chocolate, flat white, hazelnut chocolate cake and custard kouign-Amane. all were good, but a little expensive for the portion size. we wanted to buy brot for taking, but there was no one and it was said it is available on Friday and Saturday.

I love yeast bakery! as a native I have worked over the years my way through the caffes of the Broadway market etc. and I am so glad that yeast has opened this summer. the coffee is perfection, I finally had a baked the salted caramel brooch...feuilletée, which was incredible and the staff are so friendly. I think it's a family business? but they are so beautiful, they are recognized immediately and are not waiting for age groups to order like some of the other caffes near! so glad I found this caffe and happy I have a new way to spot for my weekly Friday coffee.

As a coffee lover I tend to visit a lot of coffee shops, but yeast bakery stands out as one of the best that staff are friendly, the coffee and bakery are really delicious, and the ambiente of the shop is simply perfect, definitely...worthy a visit,

Yeast Bakery offers a beautiful atmosphere with delicious pastries and carefully crafted coffee. While some find the pricing a bit high for portion sizes, the quality is undeniable. The bakery is only open to the public on Saturdays, providing an exclusive experience. With friendly staff and a welcoming ambiance, this family business in Hackney Wick is a hidden gem. The variety of pastries and bread available is top-notch, making it a must-visit destination for bread lovers. Despite the lack of seating, the quality of the products and service make Yeast Bakery worth a trip for anyone seeking exceptional baked goods.

Our first stop in London was based on a recommendation, and it exceeded our expectations. The coffee was great, and the pastries were fantastic. Everything was executed perfectly. The brunch menu offered a wide selection, and the toastie was absolutely delicious.

The whole place looks very good and well decorated. Unfortunately, it has turned out as a very bad experience with the founder having a conversation with 2 business partners right in front of us, they were almost sitting on our table. They really didn’t care about the customers comfort. No privacy at all for me and my friends, we tried to enjoy but it was really unpleasant. We didn’t feel welcomed at all. That is showing how much making money is the priority and customer’s wellbeing is definitely not a big deal. There is so many friendly and welcoming places around. Never again , too avoid.

I love Yeast Bakery! As a local I’ve worked my way through the coffee shops of Broadway market etc over the years and I am so so glad Yeast opened this summer. The coffee is perfection, I’ve finally had a pastry the salted caramel brioche feuilletée which was incredible and the staff are so friendly. I think it’s a family run business ? but they’re so lovely, you get acknowledged straight away and aren’t standing there for ages waiting to order like some of the other cafes nearby! So glad I’ve found this cafe and happy I have a new go to spot for my weekly Friday treat coffee.

One of the best places in the London. Was here a lot of times, and every time is perfect. Drinks are testy, pastries are testy. A lot of places to seat. Pretty cups and plates. Only one minus it far from another good places. Dog friendly.

One of the best croissants ever had ! We had one chocolate and one match-white chocolate croissant. I am generally not a matcha friend but this was amazing ! We also had a carrot cake and a savour pastry with onions which were good ! The coffee was very good the hot chocolate not great though. The place is so beautiful and you have a lot of chances to find a table to sit! Come before 1:30 if possible otherwise you probably won’t find many pastries left.

Had a lovely day with my friend in this stunning cafe. The cosy atmosphere and friendly staff creat a welcoming vibe. Their croissant and pastry are delicious. It’s a great spot to enjoy breakfast or a quick coffee on the go. Both my friend and I got French toast and fresh squeezed juice. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Toffee banana and toasted sesame kouign amann £2.60 out/£2.95 in praline and pistachio brioche feuilletée £5.95 out/£6.95 in yeast is best known for their aesthetically pleasing viennoiseries and baked goods, as well as their beautifully decorated cafe overlooking regent’s canal, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed brunch or coffee break. i would recommend coming early (especially on weekends) to ensure a wider selection bc at around 2pm on a sunday, most of the goods were sold out. nevertheless, we tried out a kouign amann and brioche feuilletée, although their supreme croissant did catch our eyes too. the former is definitely one for the sweet tooths bc sugar was essentially all we could taste and the banana and sesame flavour was very weak. it was also more on the doughy side, rather than flakey and crispy. we preferred the brioche feuilletée, which was generously filled with a praline and pistachio custard. the filling was surprisingly not too sweet but sadly the flavour was missing the mark again bc there wasn’t much pistachio flavour but the pastry did have a lovely texture! prices can be a bit steep if you eat in so i’d recommend taking away so you can still have the enjoyment

Yeast is a wonderful family owned bakery and eatery. Their baked goods are arguably the best in the area, particularly for croissants and bread. They also have a range of elegant brioches and cylindrical goodies that are luxurious and indulgent. Highly recommended. Their coffee is great (and they use my preferred oat milk). It's a great atmosphere in there as well, a lovely big space inside, and patio at the front.
