I eat in here almost once a week. When I moved to the area last year just as the 1st lockdown was ending and waking up on the Saturday after a hard days moving I came here for a fry and boy is it a fry. Awful experience all our mains arrived and they had forgotten one them. Our Meze starter arrived at end of the meal. It seems the owners were more interested in dining with their friends than serving the customers. With so much choice in stoke Newington sure how they survive View all feedback.

This place is a hidden gem, I use to go to cafe route for my weekly brunch and was disappointed with how the portions were reducing and prices were going up. I came across this place and can honestly say it’s the best place for breakfast/brunch. This is coming from someone who has been to nearly all of the places around Angel/ dalston. On Monday I decided to invite my family here for dinner, the lamb kebab is exceptional, tender, flavoursome and great portions too.

Firstly, i got to say i really admire the the design of the restaurant and it really stands out, from the hanging ceilings and lights to the terrace with spectacular flowers and plants all around. My friend and I ordered the platter for two which came with freshly made bread, salad, starters, rice and of course an amazing variety of chicken and lamb. they all tasted fresh and delicious. The portions and the hospitality were also very good. I will give this restaurant a 9/10 and would definitely recommend!
It was truly a unique experience. Very cozy atmosphere, it was the best falafel halloumi grill... I have ever been eat in London.
It is good Restaurant to seat and eat in Kingsland road or Stoke Newington Road area... Qulaity Meditranian and Turkish food they serving..The nice layout and the lamb shish -mixed grilled kebab was fab! Great meeting point and chillout spot. Highly recommended

Excellent menemen with soft, warm Turkish bread and good Turkish coffee. It is a lovely room with a great laid back vibe. All our breakfasts were tasty and looked lovely too. Charming service. Will be returning.
I visited this restaurant on a Saturday. It is conveniently located near Rectory Road tube station. The food here is incredibly tasty and the portions are generous. The meat was very tender, and the salad and hummus were heavenly. I especially enjoyed the toasted wraps. The staff were lovely and helpful, providing excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

In contrast, the British people speak loudly and sit comfortably, so there seems to be some other form of discrimination at play here, which is very disappointing. If you speak Turkish with a proper accent, I would advise speaking softly and not crossing your legs. Otherwise, you may risk being asked to leave. However, if you speak English, there doesn't seem to be an issue.
The food at this restaurant is incredible and the staff are amazing. The service is top-notch, a definite 10 out of 10. It is undoubtedly the best food around, offered at a reasonable price in a very welcoming atmosphere.

I eat regularly in chemen, how I like eating and the friendly relaxed atmosphere. here you will find delicious selection from meat to vegan dresses. I would recommend her spinat menemen and mezes. enjoy
I came here on Saturday night as my friends, and I was in haggerston after a short bite on a berries night. the caffe looked calm, but we were wonderfully surprised by the meal we had. the service was friendly and helpful. we had for appetizers between us 6 meze, all good and the leber was especially good. had some large mixed kebab and rice as well as chicken wings. big bbq taste and much to eat (I think we have a bit carried away) big place, beautiful bbq meat, what is not to like
My favorite go-to-place at working in the opposite cozy, not too loud, with a lot of space between tables, and a heated private terrace. the personal is friendly and they serve great Turkish food. oh yes a good playlist!
It is a fantastic place, excellent eating and brilliant service! last Saturday we held a farewell party for a friend. we were 16 people and they have made an amazing task to accommodate us. we never felt pushed to go or consume more even after a 6-hour lunch!
Best turkish cuisine in London, no doubt! I love the environment and the staff (and obviously the food! ; both are incredibly welcoming and uplifting. Great part of my day is just dropping in for a coffee here and chilling in the garden area Thank you chemen!!
