We went for a late lunch on a quiet weekday and it was fantastic. The toasties were delicious, the flan (a rare find in London) perfect, the bread good and even their coffee is not bad. Airy and modern sitting area, friendly and efficient service and you can even peak to the kitchen area where the magic happens. View all feedback.
What WillLondonParis dislikes about Yeast Bakery:
What a shame….. We were so exciting to visit this place for the very first time. We have heard so much about it . The food is really good and the pastries very freshly baked. The whole place looks very good and well decorated. Unfortunately, it has turned out as a very bad experience with the founder having a conversation with 2 business partners right in front of us, they were almost sitting on our table. They reall... Open only on Saturday to the public, this is truly a lovely bakery located near Neil Market in hipster hackney. So it is a little bit out of the way from central London, but its a *must* visit if you love your bread and pastries, and as good as anywhere around the planet. The store front isn 't much to look at, but when you turn up, you are presented with a huge range of kouign-amann (probably the best you can have outside of Paris), french-style croissants, some imaginative pastries they have thought up and some of the best bread (including sourdough, seeded and the like) you can find anywhere on the planet. You just don 't know where to start. The pricing structure and service are fair for the quality of the product which is top shelf . I am shocked that Yeast has slipped under the radar from most reviewers (as they mainly are a wholesaler I am told), but seriously, this is baking of the highest quality and definitely worth a trip if you can make it on a Saturday..
Our first stop in London was based on a recommendation, and it exceeded our expectations. The coffee was great, and the pastries were fantastic. Everything was executed perfectly. The brunch menu offered a wide selection, and the toastie was absolutely delicious.
They really didn’t care about the customers comfort. No privacy at all for me and my friends, we tried to enjoy but it was really unpleasant. We didn’t feel welcomed at all. That is showing how much making money is the priority and customer’s wellbeing is definitely not a big deal. There is so many friendly and welcoming places around. Never again , too avoid.
Yeast is a wonderful family owned bakery and eatery. Their baked goods are arguably the best in the area, particularly for croissants and bread. They also have a range of elegant brioches and cylindrical goodies that are luxurious and indulgent. Highly recommended. Their coffee is great (and they use my preferred oat milk). It's a great atmosphere in there as well, a lovely big space inside, and patio at the front.
Had a lovely day with my friend in this stunning cafe. The cosy atmosphere and friendly staff creat a welcoming vibe. Their croissant and pastry are delicious. It’s a great spot to enjoy breakfast or a quick coffee on the go. Both my friend and I got French toast and fresh squeezed juice. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!!
