Reviews - Floripa
Reviews summary
This restaurant has garnered both praise and criticism, offering a polarizing night out. While some guests rave about the vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and lively music that enhances the dining experience, others express frustration over unprofessional service and exorbitant drink prices. Reports of inconsistent entry policies and high charges for basic cocktails taint the experience for some patrons. However, the culinary offerings, particularly the Greek pita yeeros wrap, receive positive feedback, showcasing the restaurant's potential. Overall, visitors are encouraged to weigh the mixed reviews before planning their next outing.

Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Vegetarian options: When we attended this venue it was for an Old School Brunch Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking Parking: Most of the party took public transport a few drove and on road parking was available this was on a Saturday. Kid-friendliness: Not for children Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
I booked a table for my birthday and it was disappointing. You have to pay for each person and the atmosphere is not worth it. The music is terrible, the drinks are hot, and that's why there's no activity on a Saturday. I don't recommend it. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Nostalgic bangers and high energy songs not the fanciest but mid week if you’re w a few good people and tequila you can have a good time. Easy crowd, easy to meet people even if not very full on a Wednesday (but where is? Nice bartenders too
The service was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. Prices for drinks range from £6 to £20 depending on your selection.

Was charged £40.50 for three double vodka and cokes! The most expensive I have ever had in London. There were maybe 4 other people in there so it was cold with no atmosphere. Lots of staff staring at you though. The kind of place you go by accident and they know you won’t return so they rip you off. AVOID
A frustrated woman , Greta was screaming to me for no reasons. My friends was surprised by her” wanna be bossy” attitude. As I was drinking , I was calm and she make me laugh but Deffinetly is not a place where you should pay entrance for being treated like this .
Went in here around 9:30pm on a Tuesday night for one drink with my boyfriend and ordered a rum and coke and a vodka orange and was charged £27! Didn’t ask for doubles either, the bar sign says they serve doubles as standard! The place was absolutely dead so no atmosphere in there whatsoever, just 2 bar staff, a security guard inside and doorman outside. Would NOT recommend! Save your wallet and don’t let yourself get robbed!!!
DISGUSTING DO NOT GO! The guard without warning dragged me out by my arms because I took my shoes off as they were hurting . She said she wasn’t in the mood that night so decided to drag me through the bar and everyone was looking and asking what happened. Another girl even asked if I’m okay and saw I done nothing wrong and said she will not come back . None of the staff would let me speak to a manager or know the guards name which I have a right to know especially with the vile treatment SHE gave me. Look at your security cameras and witness the corrupt behaviour she had .She has no authority to man handle me under those circumstances. I spent money in this bar and was not disrupting anyone. I WILL NOT EVER COME BACK AND WILL KEEP SPREADING THE WORD TO PEOPLE OF HOW HORRIBLE THIS PLACE TREATED ME.

Both the bouncers and manager are highly incompetent and unprofessional. When queuing for the venue I was told to stop smoking all the while men and women were separated (with priority for women over guys). I stopped upon request but was refused entry, whilst being challenged on said topic both bouncer and manager refused a valid reason or name. Poor place and poor service ruined an otherwise great birthday. Normally I’d not feel the need to review such places but due to the poor treatment I feel best to avoid such a terrible place. I’ve reported both the bouncers and managers to the respective line security industry authority. If a place could be given 0 this would be the place.
This is the worst place I have ever been in 9 years living in London. I went there with a big group of friends and we got in for free, I initially thought that the staff was kind to let us in, but eventually it turned to be a real scam. First of all, as soon as inside you are presented with a cheap place with old and ruined furnitures, not to mention the quality of their cocktails and the crazy expensiveness. Cocktails in average are 13£, but they are literally watery fruit juices. As a group we spent a lot, probably 400£ given that we were 15 people. After some time inside, we managed to find a big table for us. We were there enjoying the birthday of one of our friend when the security guy came and basically obligated us to either put our jackets in the clock room or leave the place. We spent a lot and we did not deserve such a treatment. The guy was untreatable, we could not even orgie or ask questions as he would ignore us. He was very rude to all of us, therefore we decided to leave the place. As soon as we came out the place, some of our friends, all young ladies, urgently needed to go beck to quickly use the toilette. The same security guy, as well as the manager, an east European lady, did not let the girls in, just as a revenge because we left the place without paying extra money for a non-sense clock room. The manager literally started screaming at us in an authoritative way saying that they had to find another place to go to the toilette. They were very rude and unprofessional. If you want to enjoy good music in a nice environment with professionally made cocktails, go around the corner and there is an amazing place with cocktails between 9-12£, but please do not go to this club because it’s the worst place you can go.
Jesus. £15 cover charge for an average bar with drinks nearly twice that of the other bars around. We walked in for a quick drink and I’ve had to remortgage my house. Avoid at all costs
I loved it!!!! I was shocked, i never been to a club like this before. The Dj was a lovely person and friendly and the music was really good. only good vibes there 10/10!!!!
Pricey, terrible music and we have told we had to put our coats in the cloakroom for additional 3£ after 1 hour we were there and after paying a ludicrous entrance fee. Place was half empty anyway so decided to leave.. the 15 of us. Not the best way to have a great night! STAY AWAY! Better places around

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on arrival on Friday night without explanation, although the bar over the street said that Floripa had been opened the night before. I received no e-mail prior consultation not coming and, as this was a special occasion, quickly had to find another venue for dinner. Not impressed!
I went to Floripa for a friend's birthday dinner. It was just the 3 of us and they only had a 21:00 table left, so we planned for a late dinner followed by drinks, because I remember the Floripa bar being quite vibrant. I was hugely appalled with the service and will not be going back unless it is for a quick and early drink. We arrived at 21:05 and ordered a few cocktails and some starters. We finished these at 21:25, asked to order our mains and were told that the kitchen was closed, or rather, that all the cooks had already left...? There was no prior warning of the kitchen closing and we were told very rudely. So we stayed for a while, chatted, etc. At 21:50 we tried to get attention to order another round of cocktails someone came over 5 minutes later and told us that the table service was over, and that if we wanted drinks we'd have to get up and order at the bar. So we rushed to the bar at 21:57 because the menu stated that last order for drinks was at 10pm (no idea why they call themselves a bar it was a Friday night! , and were told that no more drinks were being served except for a Mojito and a couple of Floripa special cocktails... there were 4 bartenders doing absolutely nothing and not one would order the cocktails we wanted. Between the kitchen closing, the staff being unbothered to place an order at the table and the bar closing, we ultimately had a really bad time and I feel terrible for my friend. If you would still like to go, I recommend going for an early dinner on a weekday that might be nice!
The place smelt very bad as soon as we walked in (toilets downstairs) and the bill took ages to sort out. We left quite quickly after one drink. I was told the cocktails were alright however.
