Not anymore, I am unsure if it’s changed hands, but the Roast was nothing like it used to be. I was so disappointed with the small diced overcooked veg, stale roast potatoes and very dry yorkshire pudding. The beef was cooked nicely, Service was friendly but we wouldn’t go back again. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £30–40

Food was 10/10, the expertise in event planning in advance and on the day 10/10, atmosphere 10/10....but most impressive was the team on the day, with their support, care, attentiveness and smiles throughout from them all! I mean: it’s the same printed-off pub quiz that 90% of London pubs do these days, but it’s delivered with vigour by a very lovely MC The large room at the back of the pub has a kind of cramped beer hall kind of vibe, and boy sometimes you really have to squeeze past the tables to get to the loos. You’ll be asking yourself whether to present your crotch or your backside to whichever hapless punter is sitting near the loos and please don’t make the mistake I did: the answer is backside, every time.
