A Nice quiet pub, food a little expensive, chips a little crispy (overcooked) but the fish was nice. Make sure you don’t leave going to the toilet for the last minute as you have to physically squeeze past a piano to get through the door. Welcoming Price per person: £20–30 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Went on a warm Saturday afternoon easy going, relaxed pub with an outdoor space which feels quite intimate despite being on the corner of the street. Food and drinks selection was good too. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
While I have had my eye on the Scolt head for a while, I was disappointed when I finally went. Unnecessarily busy, including outdoor space. The customer demographic is a big more edgey and less enjoyable. I’d sooner go to the talbot up the road. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £1–10
You can eat here, hangout , drink and watch the football. It's a semi bank street pub. Has a nice beer garden for the summer Good choice of beers and ales. Nice looking people. Recommend
The Scolt Head has the most rude miserable staff of any establishment I've ever been to, and I've lived in Paris. My friend had her birthday there and the staff were so rude to pretty much everyone in the group, it almost seemed like a wind up. I bought a bottle of house white wine at the bar and after I'd paid I realised she'd forgotten to give me wine glasses. Obviously just a mistake, I patiently waited to catch her eye to ask for a glass but she seemed to not see me for some time. After serving others, she finally caught my eye so I asked nicely for a wine glass and she snarled at me like I'd asked for her kidney and angrily banged the glass down on the bar with no apology or acknowledgment. The people I was with were astonished. It was like she hated me yet I'd never met her before in my life.Anyway, there was only one friendly person behind the bar (early on in the evening), and three very surly rude ones. Not worth risking going there again. Definitely don't go for a birthday unless you're a masochist and enjoy being treated like the scum on the scum of the bar person's shoe.Nice decor though.
