The founder, John Faulkner, named the restaurant after himself and saw it thrive until his retirement. After changing hands multiple times over the past decade, Faulkner's is now back in the hands of its original owners. I absolutely love the cheese gozleme and cheesecake at this place. The cheese gozleme is made with warm, flaky pastry and melted cheese that's incredibly tasty. It's irresistible! Their cheesecake is a delightful treat, with a creamy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. If you're a fan of cheese, you definitely need to try these amazing dishes.

A great local fish restaurant. We’ve been a few times and must admit to having either the cod or the haddock each time...but that’s because they were so good. We had a nice fresh salad, chips and mushy peas with the fish. We didn’t have to try and read the extensive menu on a phone screen because Faulkner’s have put their menus under glass on the table so easily cleaned. We will be back again soon

We were staying in Dalston and were looking for a good place to enjoy a good Fish Chips Meal we stumbled upon this restaurant, which happened to be a short walk away from our place. Though the place did not boast of a very high rating, there was something about this family run restaurant that was welcoming. The decor was simple but comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered Tempura Shrimps, fried Cod with chips and Spinach and cheese gozleme, which was recommended by our host. Each item was delicious and the portions were hearty! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this eatery to other Tripadvisor members!
