Being able to choose which meal you'd like from a number of options for starter/main was a surprise and the food was truly delicious. The setup was perfect and everyone could hear/see for speeches etc. A really lovely day.

The wa... read more We made a reservation for 3 people for a Sunday roast, but when we arrived, we were told we had been given a table for 2 with an extra chair squeezed in. The waiting staff remarked on the small table size and offered us another table that was already occupied by a couple (also a 2 person table). There was a 4 person table available, which we requested to sit at instead, but were told that they would lose business if they seated 3 people at a 4 seater table. After continued argument with 3 different staff members, we were finally seated at the 4 seater table that had been available since our arrival. There was no apology given and we were told we were being difficult. Despite the good food, the overall experience was enough to make us think twice about coming back.
