What Joey B doesn't like about The Fish Keg:
I just spent $65 on 1lb of catfish nuggets, 1lb of shrimp and 1/2 lb of hush puppies and it's the most horrible texture and taste I've ever experienced with seafood. I should've followed my first mind and visited Pappadeauxs. This food was very poor quality in my opinion. View all feedback. What Adam K likes about The Fish Keg:
Want to time warp back to 1970 then come to The Fish Keg. For over 50 years, the Hansen family has owned and operated this visually arresting fish valhalla. It is the real deal with locals ordering a pound of fried shrimp, or fish, or anything else that can be deep fried. Want fries, cole slaw, macaroni salad or lemon bars with that? Get some. I was fortunate enough to walk in on a Friday morning and had the place to myself. The counter attendant was helpful but had an emotionless "Walleyed
Long ago, perhaps 25 years or more I had some one being food over from fish keg. It was alright. Well tonight 11.17.17 I had a taste for some fish and chips

read moreA recent visit to The Fish Keg left a disappointed customer feeling that the seafood was of poor quality and not worth the price. The fried fish was decent, but the fries were dry and the sides were lackluster. Another reviewer was dissatisfied with the portion sizes and overall experience. Some found the fried fish to be mediocre and overpriced, while others enjoyed the perfectly prepared seafood and nostalgic atmosphere, appreciating the option to take food home to cook. Despite mixed reviews, The Fish Keg continues to be a classic spot for seafood lovers, offering tasty options but varying experiences for different diners.
