Contribute FeedbackThe Gage offers a lively atmosphere with great service and large, well-made drinks. Some dish prices were considered too high, and a few menu items had flaws. Despite this, the food quality overall was excellent, especially the halibut and desserts. The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a wonderful dining experience. The prime location near attractions and efficient service make it a go-to spot for many patrons. Although there were some disappointments with seating arrangements during a busy holiday, The Gage remains a great choice for a delicious meal in the loop.
This restaurant is one of our favorites due to the delicious food and excellent service.
The food, atmosphere, and service at this restaurant are always top-notch! It has been my favorite spot in the city for as long as I can remember. And a special shout-out to Tacho for the fantastic service on my birthday!
The food is consistently delicious and the service is attentive. However, the back room can get too crowded.
My dish came with red pepper flakes thst were not mentioned. When I asked the waitress why she quickly offered and delivered the dish without the spice and apologized as did the kitchen manager.
Fantastic food, great service and great location. We went for brunch the lemon pound cake was amazing. No issues with the food or service but we didn't notice until we had already paid that we were charged a few dollars more for a few items than the menu price. Our server didn't come back after we had already paid and it was only a few dollars (maybe $5 total for a few different items) so we didn't bring it up, but it was annoying. We understand prices changing but the menu needs to reflect it. Would go again and would like to try dinner there.
