The experience has generally been ok but met a... read more I live locally and run a finance business from home so frequently meet clients and business associates at Kongee. The experience has generally been ok but met a colleague for lunch here on 17/1 and the experience was abysmal. The male who served us, mucked up our order which was placed at 1.30pm. The food was brought out at about 2pm and was definitely not worth the wait. We were sitting and eating and discussing business and at 2.25pm, the male who had mucked up the order anyway, was cleaning up around us while we were still eating and was obviously not wanting to work a minute past the 2.30pm closing time. Then to further demonstrate his enthusiasm about emptying the store, he went and turned off the airconditioning while we were still eating and the place was all closed up. This was on a day where the temperature was 35 degrees outside and very humid. Disgraceful. This guy shouldn't be employed in a service industry. We left furious and will not be back.I realise my review is in stark contrast to the other few here. I am not generally a very demanding person but this treatment was atrocious and I feel it should be mentioned in this forum. I will keep walking to the Breakfast Creek across the road next time.
