Navala Churrascaria - Brisbane

A good Brazilian Churraascaria on the River with good service and a nice selection of nicely cooked meats. As always at these restaurants arrive hungry and start slowly. An enjoyable dinner

Went in 2017 and again in April 2023. The food is beautifully cooked. The staff are all Brazilian and friendly. The view overlooks the Brisbane river. It is a great experience in every way. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere nice to eat on Saturday 1pm. The place was half empty. We were told at the door because we didn't have a booking we could only order the expensive smorgasbord type meal for $69 each. They had spare tables but you couldn't order off the regular menu like everyone else. Weird and quite rude to say the least as we had walked there from the Queen Street mall. We probably would have ordered close to the amount they were charging for the smorgasbord type meals with normal meals. Couldn't be bothered cooking anything else?

The price is very reasonable here, unlimited meat and sides for 69 dollars is brilliant! However, you do get what you pay for. The sides aren’t brilliant and the options are limited compared to other Brazilian restaurants I have been. The meat however was very nice. Unfortunately we also didn’t experience the best service. We were sat outside and I think we were a little bit forgotten about in the corner, so it was difficult to order more sides/sauces, sometimes having to wait 20 minutes to order. Then when we did order, on two occasions they did not come so we had to order again. Having said that, the meat was very good, very tasty and came out fast and constantly. Probably would revisit if I was in the mood for a meat kick :

We have come to Navala numerous times for their BBQ degustation and we absolutely love it. There's always a great range of meat to choose from. They rotate around tables quite quickly so you're not going to wait to long or get hungry. We ordered nearly all the sides and they served it to us quickly. The staff are always so lovely and they come up to us to check if we want to order anything else or ask how the meal is going. Overall, the food is good quality, the service is excellent and the value for money is great. We highly recommend eating at Navala!
