Description

Pappa Rich in Brisbane CBD has been a popular spot since 2015, offering a wide range of Malaysian cuisine, drinks, and desserts. The plain roti was a standout with its appealing buttery scent and perfect texture. The Ipoh koay teow soup and steamed chicken dish was flavorful and well-balanced. However, there have been mixed reviews regarding the vegan and vegetarian options, with some dishes not living up to expectations. While some diners have noted a decline in food quality, others have enjoyed their meals thoroughly. Despite long queues and slight inconsistencies in serving sizes, most diners have found the food to be delicious and the service prompt. Overall, Pappa Rich offers a decent dining experience, although prices can add up quickly, especially for lunch. Whether you're craving roti, curry, or noodle soup, this bustling restaurant is worth a visit for a taste of Malaysian flavors.

The restaurant has fantastic dumplings, delicious mock mutton, and spicy okra. The allergen menu may be a bit confusing for some as there are several dairy-free and egg-free options that are not labeled as vegan. However, I would highly recommend ordering multiple servings of the dumplings with some rice - you'll leave feeling completely satisfied.

The menu offers a few vegan and vegetarian (with egg) options. I particularly liked the mock meat curry, but I have tried the vegetarian dumplings a couple of times and would not recommend them due to their poor presentation, texture, and taste.

So glad our wandering brought us to this place! The food was delicious, the service fantastic and the atmosphere was great. The perfect place to eat during a Brisbane winter storm. The price is really affordable and the portions good value. I can’t recommend this place enough. We really enjoyed the Iced White coffee too!

Quick service. The food was quite a generous portion and reasonably priced. I had a chicken noodle soup. The chicken was nice and moist and the soup was tasty. Nothing to complain about.

Very nice food served in large portions and the staff are really nice. The food took a while to come after we ordered so we had to rush and take our leftovers away as we had to go back to work. All payments by card, whether debit or credit, attract a surcharge.
