They have the usual wra... read more Nice little place a couple of blocks from our hotel. We enjoyed the banana bread and sultana bread ($4.00 for 1 slice, $7 for 2 slices). They have the usual wraps and sandwiches for breakfast, plus the cooked meals. Unusually, they also offer Congee. It's a savory or sweet rice dish often eaten for breakfast in China. Hubby especially liked it when we visited China. I was more taken with noodle dishes for breakfast. Anyway, both mornings we visited had many Asian customers enjoying the congee. The service is well organized and friendly. The coffee is reasonably priced. I've become a fan of the flat white. It's about all I've been drinking. We would definitely return.

The food was deli... read more During our stay at the Riverside Hotel, we had breakfast at Kongee four times. The dining room and kitchen were impeccably clean and polished. The food was delightful, with a menu that was more innovative than other places we had visited. We enjoyed everything we tried and found the juices and coffee to be exceptional. Keep up the excellent work, Kongee!
