While some reviews mention a poor atmosphere due to strip lighting, the authentic food and welcoming staff make up for it. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the experience is described as a home away from home. From themed regional nights to family-friendly Sunday lunches, the venue provides an authentic Italian dining experience. Special mention is given to the pasta, pizza, and eggplant parmigiana. Overall, the restaurant is praised for its genuine Italian hospitality, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere reminiscent of dining in Italy.
Beautiful to reopen our local club, even if only for lunch on a Sunday. beautiful selection of Italian wines and regional foods. book them further so they are not turned away
I was charged $27 for a seafood ravioli pasta, and it smells old red and went away. the pasta itself was uncooked, the table next to us had a burned pizza and sadly wait for the age groups for the meal. tastes embarrassing, the personal was friendly, but will not return!
We celebrated the Italian Republic Day. eat cold and average best, no Italian music and in fact hard to find everything Italian in the event, apart from some photos on the wall? the venue is good and not too. like most clubs, but unfortunately I will fight to go back. Maybe they just had a bad night and I wish them a lot good.
The ordered gnocchi and “damped vegetables” as home delivery of anfe and was disappointed. I thought we had delivered the wrong order when I opened the bag to find some of the smallest container in the world. the gnocchi would be a great size in any other restaurant, and the “damped vegetables” (designated as “mixed” in the menu) was actually only broccolini (approximately 7 strands.) for $30 inclusive delivery I see this as unacceptable.
I had a great dinner at ANFE tonight. It had been a while since I last ate here and I was pleasantly surprised. The interior has been renovated beautifully, with a new terrazzo bar set to open soon. They also offer Spritz Happy Hour on the weekends, which I was thrilled about. The new menu was fantastic and I enjoyed having an authentic Italian meal at a reasonable price in a setting that is rich with Italian history. ANFE, as a non-profit organization, has certainly made a positive impact in Brisbane. I enjoyed my experience so much that I decided to become a member.
