Reviews - Spit Shack
Reviews summary
The Spit Shack offers spit-roasted pork and lamb rolls with a variety of toppings in a peaceful garden setting. Customers can choose between different sizes of rolls and sauces, with options for extras like crackling and caramelized onions. The meat is juicy and flavorful, although some reviewers found it to be on the dry side at times. Prices are a bit high for a roast roll, but the quality and freshness of the food make it worth a visit. Overall, the Spit Shack is a popular lunch spot with good food, relaxing ambiance, and friendly service.

Didn't go to this one, went to the food trucks in Braddon but apparently the same. Great good. Had a spit stack, lamb and pork combo with gravy and mint sauce chips and coleslaw and it was fabulous. Did us for lunch and dinner! Great value. Fresh. Worth a visit to any of the places. View all feedback.
What Justin A dislikes about Spit Shack:
I’ve been down 3 times now when they were supposed to be open. I’m done with them. They are very casual at Tuggeranong and can’t even update their new location. Go elsewhere View all feedback.

Food is ok but don't go down after 7pm Sunday they r always shut even though they r supposed to be open till nine false advertising
I’ve been a regular customer of yours for about 6 months, but I just the worst customer service from one of your employees. After calling the piallago store 7 times wanting to put an order through and nobody answering the phone, getting there and there’s only one other customer there, trying to order a egg and bacon roll for a colleague and the guy says “no sorry it’s all turned off” even though your still open for 45 minutes, I then ask if he can do a lamb or pork roll for the same price and he reluctantly says yes (thank you) and then after I pay he than says “You better watch myself”.... I’m not even sure if I want to give my colleague the food as he’s probably spat on it or something in spite. After this experience I’m not too sure if I want to ever return or recommend the spit shack to anyone in the future.
I’m loving that spit shack is now so close to home, amazingly consistent and delicious every time. Tender, beautiful and full of flavor.

Pas mal...le dessert est bien. I won't order their fish again. It's mediocre. But my friend said the burger was good.
Went here for lunch and had an amazing foot long with all the trimmings - so tasty - also got some seasoned fry's - so much better than the bland subway with the uneatable bread

Got the footlong pork roll with crackling and cheese !!! WOWEE it was amazing The price is mid range with a drink its about 20 bucks
Had a fantastic foot long pork roll. Followed the cooks suggestion and had it with apple sauce, gravy, coleslaw and caramelised onions. Was a seriously delicious combination. They are very generous with the ingredients so it is a very filling meal. Perfect with a beer sitting out in the ramshackle tables in the eating area. If you are looking for some yummy simple food this is a great place.
