Great environment here, basically a pub bistro, nice and casual. Monday's are the day to get there Tesla pizza because it's the same price as regular size but they give you large which is perfect between two people and very yummy. They have good beer options on tap. Wanting to come back and try their vegan burger. The chips have great seasoning also. View all feedback.
What Tremaine Glover dislikes about Grease Monkey:
only vegan pizza on the menu and only a vegan vogel. while the pizza was delicious, it was not worth $25. we went with our friends who have been going for years and said that $25 they would get a full pizza to cover the entire tablet of ende, now they get the half of the pizza for the same price. This restaurant is a great choice for a Monday night, as you can score a whole pizza (typically priced at $27) for just $16. If you dine between 4-6pm, you can also enjoy fries and drinks for around $4 each.
The Portobello mushroom burger is fantastic! I had it today and I'm already looking forward to having it again tomorrow. We also tried the Beyond Meat patty burger and it was good as well, but it couldn't compare to the deliciousness of the Portobello mushroom burger!
Only vegan pizza on the menu, and only one vegan birder. While the pizza was yummy, it was not worth $25. We went with our friends that have been going for years and said that $25 used to get you a full pizza would cover the whole tray from end to end, now you get half the pizza for the same price.

My go-to for great burgers in Canberra. Hipster vibe, friendly pub-style setting and never had any issues with CC and staff are Coeliac aware.
Great burgers, and the chips have their own frier. Most of the pizzas can be done gf too. The staff ask me if I’m Coeliac as soon as I order the gf bun, which is really reassuring!

So glad to have found a burger joint that understands ceoliac (and close by, too, . My 11yo, recently diagnosed, is overjoyed at the delicious burger and chips. Ordering is so easy...with many options to customise. GM is fast becoming our go to takeaway!

Great place to take the family for dinner. Service was quick and easy. Burgers chips were awesome, would highly recommend.
Grease Monkey is my absolute burger joint. Their burgers are frickin delicious and I can’t get enough of the truffle Parmesan fries!
Having coeliac disease, I always get a little anxious going to new places. Grease Monkey definitely didn’t disappoint. When I ordered my burger with gluten free bun, I was asked if I was intolerant or coeliac. They went on to tell me the relish and fries weren’t considered safe for me, and gave me a side of coleslaw instead. Always a good sign that they know what they’re doing. After eating, I feel great, and the food was amazing! Thank you for being so knowledgeable about the food and serving up amazingly tasty (and safe) treats!
Easily the best burger joint in Canberra. Orgasmic burgers and chips, excellent service, great vibe. Never any hour-long waits for a burger, unlike a certain over-hyped Canberra burger shop which will not be named.
Ordered three pieces of chicken and chips as a late lunch, loved it. Great food, great price, generous portion. Spice mix on the chips was delicious but a touch too salty. Fast, friendly service. I'd definitely recommend the place and it looks like they have some great weekly specials too

The Portobello Mushroom Burger is amazing! I had one today and I would like to go back tomorrow. We also tried the beyond meat patty burger and that was also good. But no patch on the Portobello Pilz Burger!

I’ve only been to the truck at Woden but the burgers there are amazeballs! I don’t know what’s in their special sauce but its divine absolutely chip dip and wrapper licking worthy. Not the cheapest burger place in Canberra but the serving sizes, quality and great taste make it pretty good value for money.
