Was Jesse McCookie at Rizla a mag?
So impressed with our night At Rizla Braddon. I have walked past this place a million times and somehow never made it in there, but tonight we did at it was fantastic. We had the feed me set menu and it was well curated and generous in portions. For me the pork loin won the night but everything was excellent . Food was great. Wine fantastic. Not very impressed with the service. A gentleman serving me was very rude. Not a very welcome to Canberra environment. I just moved to Canberra for work purposes and thought it would be nice to see local restaurant for future client bookings. wanted a pleasant meal. This is our favourite place to eat in Canberra. From the first time we met Andy just after opening we have never been disappointed in any of our numerous visits. Andy clearly has an eye for choosing staff who, like him, are kind, highly skilled and well informed. This time we took 2 UK friends and 2 WA friends and one of us could only eat steamed rice (not on the menu). All the visitors were amazed by their gastronomic experience. The UK pair said the food was far more exciting than their recent visit to an Ottolenghi restaurant in London. Well done team, we will be back again soon.
It took me far too long to come here because it’s now my new favourite! We did the ‘sort it out’ tasting and everything was perfect. Love, love, loved!
