What Logan W doesn't like about Melanie's:
We visited Boone this morning and decided to try a local spot for breakfast. Service time was pretty slow. My food was underwhelming and dry. The price is pretty steep for the service and flavor of the food. Not a terrible meal, but not as good as I expected. Really-like a 3.5 of 5. View all feedback. What Sandra C likes about Melanie's:
Visiting Boone and decided to try a local breakfast restaurant. Sunrise Grill was closer to us, but did not realize they were closed on Tuesday's. So we decided to check out Melanie's and glad we did!! Seated immediately, love the colorful decor tables, chairs and cloth napkins. Friendly staff, quick service, excellent food, hot fresh coffee, delicious fresh fruit, and homemade apple butter. Recommend and will visit... View all feedback.

We enjoyed breakfast for two days while touring the area. A bit of a funky menu, but the food was good. Avoid the potatoes and love the bread and apple butter.

read moreMelanie's is a cozy spot in Boone that may not offer a wide variety of vegan options, but still manages to please with dishes like the Paul's Tempeh Scramble. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Non-vegans will likely find something to enjoy here as well. While some patrons have had issues with allergies, the majority of guests rave about the delicious food and friendly staff. Whether you're looking for a hearty breakfast or a leisurely brunch, Melanie's is a must-visit spot in Boone.
