Vidalia - Boone

It was great. The food tasted good and the staff was fantastic. But my friend found a piece of plastic or glass or something in her tomato cake. She was obviously very upset. Our waitress was great and treated the situation as well as she could, and she composed our meals. That's why I won't post images of the repulsive object. They need to increase their quality control. Your apology was good, and my girlfriend felt better after that.

Very good food. Waitress was inexperienced but very nice. Nice variety of food. My smoked chicken carbonara was outstanding. My wife's Carolina Rice bowl was too hot/spicy and she likes spicy food. Didn't particular care for the flavor combination either. Onion rings were outstanding. Some of the best we've ever had.

Shout out to Anna(? for taking good care of me. I came to Boone solo and walked into Vidalia on a whim. She was super attentive and warm. The person who delivered my food was also really nice. If you’re sober, this place offers two NA beers. The stout is bomb. I really appreciate places that have options for non drinkers. Thank you for making me feel welcome! *the host was also very friendly and accommodating. I’m noting the staff because they’re the reason I’ll come back.

Vidalia has been part of my wife and the restaurant of my wife for more than 10 years. It is beautiful, but affordable, in a cool, relaxed atmosphere. Eating is always excellent, servings are satisfying, and the service is fantastic. One of Boone's best!

We were so elated that we forgot our To-Go containers. The experience was outstanding, far superior expectations. We originally wanted to go for chickens and waffles, but we ended up with the chicken, waffles and so much more. Perfect sea red Elk medals, crispy cronuts, a fantastic Tumeric cocktail, earring tea and unimaginable service courtesy of our server Beatrice M. 10/10 would certainly recommend.
