There are always 5 different menues to choose from. You can always have tab water to drink, which unusual in Switzerland. With most menues you get a salad and a soup and even a desert. It is set up like a cantine. The people are very nice and helpful. Most people work in a special program reintegrating people in the workforce. Really worth going. View all feedback.
This is a very pleasant cantina with a nice selection of dishes and good service. Advanced reservation is important particularly if coming with a group.

This fantastic place to have lunch proves that a social project can become a success, and can compete by it's choice , kindness and prices with any restaurant in this part - rather posh area in Basel!Grat concept-: YOU SEE THE DISHES, and choose- then they are served by extremely friendly statt- The variety is great , the lamb chops can compete with any place, the fish with wild rice , great- home nade cake- salad or soup, both fresh!The place is great, you have locals, elderly people, students, regulars, and all is just a bit of home- but still modern!The staff - my compliments!Apart from that they sell some candles for a social project-Go there- opposite to the synagogue, and enjoy Basel's Cantina!Thank you for the delicious meal- we all enjoyed!
Good restaurant with friendly staff and great cook. Recommended.
This place is always well organized, friendly and the menus are great. Even with the take-away menus are always nicely prepared and served. Portions are generous so I sometimes enjoy more for dinner.
