Our table was on a covered terrace overlooking a surprisingly very quiet Münsterplatz in Basel post theatre we were pleasantly surprised to find free tables on a very pleasant summer's evening. Whilst the service may have been slightly erratic, which we put down to the late hour, our drinks and food were served really quite promptly. We didn't test the menu, but were very pleased with the light evening meals we ordered. We'd go back ....

We dropped into this lovely little museum cafe today (9-10-16), a drizzly Sunday afternoon. What a delight! We had two of the tortes (very thin crust pizzas, basically) that were very delicious. One was a smoked salmon, and the other was spinach and mushrooms. Our friends shared the lasagne (way big for one person, so sharing was a smart decision), and they loved it. Our waitress was wonderful!! I wish we had caught her name. She took the time to recommend two places for dinner, and gave us bus and train directions. Very sweet and kind young lady! Very attentive and a great attitude.Great place. Don't hesitate.
