We sought out a recommendation from a local, but, learned it was closed for remodeling, so in our search we wandered past here, checked out the menu and decided to dine here and we were both glad we did! It was busy, and only got busier... My mom had the beef tartare, which they consider a specialty, and we agree. It was hunting season, so I chose something from that menu, wild boar (chops) which was wonderful! The staff suggested a local wine (red) which was lovely! A wonderful dining experience!

I have stayed at the lovely old hotel many times, with friends from England years ago. We all loved this hotel, warm, clean and always happy to have you there.... read more I have stayed at the lovely old hotel many times, with friends from England years ago. We all loved this hotel, warm, clean and always happy to have you there. The rooms i had did not have ensuite facilities then but the bathroom on the floor had the most powerful shower i have ever had ! I would not hesitate to stay there again anytime. The restaurant is also one I have eaten in many times too. Great steaks and really delicious local Swiss food, where a lot of locals eat too. Friendly, service and always with a great smile. You will not be disappointed when you eat here.
