Grampi's - Zermatt

Been there multiple times. Very good pizza but way to hot at the top floor

Not gluten free for celiacs. Got glutened here. Food tasted good though. Family enjoyed their dishes. Was also disappointed that the server asked me how much tip did I want to add to the bill. I don’t like being bullied into this in Europe. It’s not common for waiters to act like this.

Gluten free options available pasta, pizza. Very nice carbonara (with penne though). Very good service. Not too expensive. Very good establishment.

If the perfect Pizza Place had a name, it would be Grampi's. One of the most delicious pizzas I ever tasted, and the service was nothing short of perfect.

We went as a family for dinner and had a reservation. Right when we arrived, we were told that we would have our table for 90 minutes. It's okay to have a limit on time spent eating, but generally it is at least around 120 minutes. Our waiter was extremely rude and did not seem like he was interested in his work at all. He brought us the wrong entree, and when I pointed it out, he got very agitated to the point of snatching the menu from my hands and hitting it against the chandelier above us. He did not apologize or come back to check up on us during our meal. If I was not with family and children, I would have left right then. Overall an extremely underwhelming and disappointing experience. My recommendation would be to avoid this place. The pizzas are fine, but the pasta was not cooked well and was on the dry side with not enough sauce.
