Jolly's restaurant has garnered a wide range of reviews, showcasing both highs and lows. While many patrons have praised the stellar quality and flavors of the food, others have expressed deep disappointment, describing their meals as bland, stale, and inedible. Issues such as poor-quality chicken, incorrect rice types, and lackluster naan have emerged frequently. Despite these negatives, some visitors reported excellent service, hot meals, and standout dishes like Soya tikka naan and gulab jamun. Overall, Jolly's seems to be a place of contrasting culinary experiences, leaving potential diners to weigh the inconsistencies before their visit.

Was Sarah C at Jolly Catering a mag?
Decided to have a few bits for lunch. Samosas and sheep kebabs lo eky. Onions bhaji were awful. Sorry. So big and dry. Reduce their size and balance the fried outside with the dry centre and u are on to a winner View all feedback.

What Raj D dislikes about Jolly Catering:
Placed a order on uber eats, the food was warmed up from frozen nothing was fresh absolutely a waste of money. If your expecting fresh indian food DONT GO HERE OR ORDER FROM HERE.....STAY WELL CLEAR View all feedback.

The best vegetable samosas around and for a great price but the onion bhajis were inedible and all went straight in the bin for all of us. Huge, painfully dry balls of stodge!

Tonight we came onto our night shift and we all wanted a curry, and thought of your establishment straight away and travelled from Willenhall to you to collect the takeaway. We have all genuinely never been so disappointed. The poppadoms were stale, the ‘pilau’ rice was not pilau rice and it had peas in which was not expected. The 3 chicken curry’s were bland and had absolutely no taste. The chicken curry tasted like it had been dipped in tomato sauce. Genuinely sad to say these were the worst curry’s we have all had. The food was stone cold when we got back which shouldn’t happen. Then after spending around £40 I thought we may be entitled to something free asked if we could get some poppadoms, however we were charged for these and then they were STALE.

Visited on 20/5/21 and ordered food to dine in and take away. We ordered samosa chaat, chili paneer, masala chicken tikka chips, 2 curries, and naan breads to take home. The starters were average, but the chips were overly salty. Unfortunately, the curries and naan bread were very disappointing. Both curries were bland and salty, made with chicken thigh meat, and the naan breads were pre-packaged and not fresh out of a clay oven. The presentation was lacking, with no fancy boxes like you see on social media. We will not be returning.

This has to be the worst Indian takeout we have ever had. I apologize for the blunt review, but I believe I deserve a real apology! The chicken was poor, full of veins and ligaments, and the jalfrezi was watery and incredibly bland. I have never experienced a curry like it before - even my 2-year-old could eat it, and she has never tried a spicy curry before! The pilau rice included peas and carrots, which was not enjoyable. The naan was okay, and the only thing that was decent were the samosas, but that's because they tasted similar to the ones at Sachins Deli in Wolverhampton. Despite the fact that the curries were cheaper than my usual spot (Pearl of Bengal), the total spent was £25 for 1 curry, 1 rice, 1 naan, tikka pakora, chips, and 4 samosas. Normally, at Pearl of Bengal, I would spend £25 to £30 for 2 curries, 2 rice, a bottle of coke, tikka naan, chips, pakora, and a tikka starter - plus they include salad and popadoms. I am extremely disappointed. The high number of good reviews this place has makes me think that they may be fake reviews.
