Blomidon Inn - Wolfville
Blomidon Inn
Description
Blomidon Inn offers a dining experience that is a mix of elegance and unprofessionalism. While some guests were impressed with the atmosphere and exceptional service provided by servers like Kelly, others were disappointed by bland and unappetizing food offerings. The lack of response to feedback from management left a sour taste for some patrons. Despite the shortcomings, the inn's charming ambiance, knowledgeable servers, and exquisite desserts leave room for improvement and ongoing patronage for loyal visitors. The establishment continues to provide a warm and welcoming environment, making it a favored destination for special occasions.

Great lunch in a beautiful character filled setting.__With a lot of these charming historic Inns, the food usually doesn't live up to the appeal of the
We needed a place for lunch in the area and I found Blomidon Inn online We arrived at about 1 p.mand were seated quickly.
We are locals who had not been here for supper in a number of years. We were very pleased with the meal. The menu is more contemporary than our past experience. There were or options, and there is a fixed price meal for...multiple courses. Homemade bread was delicious. Wines and beers had lots of options. The dining room is beautiful and the tables are nicely spaced. I had fish cakes and a small beef tenderloin. My partner had salad and pasta. Food was tasty and nicely presented. Service was friendly and the meal was nicely paced. Desserts were tasty my partner had a hot fudge sundae and I had a blueberry trifle. We thought that the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and ambience received. This is a great spot right in Wolfville, and the Inn is a gem to see. We will return and we recommend.
Let me first say that the server was knowledgeable and welcoming. very professional. the atmosphere was good. the appetizer was good, run the mill that could make it easy to house with a trip to the deli. the main course was so bland. I'm not... sure if it was the court itself or the cook had a bad night. but it wasn't worth eating. I would have gone to boston pizza for her pasta dishes, I would have known. we were looking forward to a nice dinner after the wine tasting, but it wasn't the end we were hoping for.
Once again we had a lovely dinner at the Blomidon Inn.Appetizers were very generous portions. My husband had the fish cake which was made just the way he likes them.My caesar was excellent with just the right amount of dressing. The maple cream chicken was perfectly done...and well presented. Marcella, our very efficient waitress checked in to make sure we were happy with our choices. Our room, Hantsport, was cozy and bed comfy.Breakfast is self serve continental.Always a pleasure to return to Blomidon and the Wolfville area.
