On a few occasions i have had Breakfast and Lunch here and I am always amazed at the flavours and unique blends that i don't seem to get in many other Cafe's. Always presented beautifuly, and then the flavours that o so well together. And while they are always busy, they are always polite and friendly. I can't wait to go back again.
The coffee is as excellent as the service, was in Wodonga visiting family and after the first breakfast there came back every morning. The best scrambled eggs I've ever had, anywhere.
I found this business on TripAdvisor, based on it's ratings for coffee, I knew I had to visit... I walked through Junction Place towards the old railway station ... first impressions were interesting. Whilst it is in a historic building dating from 1874 there is a very average sign to indicate this is the right location. Once you walk past this sign and into the building, you are struck by the incredible transformation of this station. Staff greeted me and showed me to a table. I wanted a coffee... it was the reason I was here, but I had not eaten breakfast at the motel I stayed at... so I ordered some sour dough toast. One thing to note here is the staff are exceptionally professional, but being friendly is not on the radar. If you want flawless service, you will get it here, if you want country-town friendliness... this is not for you. I would not consider myself a connoisseur of coffee... but I am forever looking for good coffee, and I am often disappointed by what is on offer. But BeanStation's coffee is smooth, I didn't add my usual sugar and enjoyed it immensely. My sourdough toast with jam was also very tasty. I do not recall a time where I considered stopping at Wodonga for coffee but in recent times I was in the area for business, twice within a week. Not ideal for that long drive) Instead of spending my time in Albury as is my usual practice, this time I stayed in Wodonga. I moved into the North East of the state earlier in the year and visits to this area are part of my scope for work... there is no doubt that I will return to this cafe.
I visited this restaurant for coffee after a recommendation from a local. They were right - the coffee was delicious and the muffins were huge. We didn't try a cooked meal, but everything we saw looked very appetizing. The staff was also very friendly.
