Miss Amelie - Wodonga

Being a chef and about to open my first restaurant in Merimbula I wanted to take my wife out for an amazing meal with friends of ours (even if they were an hour late),The food was to die for and everything was perfectly cooked and presented by a very talented kitchen team,I had the steak tartar and it was the best I have had, the ox cheek special I had was so succulent and tasty,Everything was sensational and for such perfect food you'd pay 10 times more in the city,It was great to pick Davids brains about opening a first restaurant and if they do not receive a chef hat award I'd be shocked massively Well done guys and thank you so much

After huge expectations we found miss Amelie to have great atmosphere and food to be picture perfect with very disappointing execution and taste. Cured salmon was over salted, duck was overcooked, lamb was too dry. As compared to other less promoted local restaurants it was a big let down.

Fabulous food and staff super. Service tops . Go back anytime we went for lunch and spent a beautiful 2 and half hours there .

Wadonga may not be the obvious choice for a sensational regional dining experience, however a visit to Miss Amelie changes that misconception in a heartbeat. This is a destination dining experience that's absolutely worthy of the journey.Housed in the decommissioned Wadonga train station in a rejuvenated part of town, the venue is unique with oodles of charm. It's warm, inviting & inclusive space with the central kitchen is buzzing with culinary artistry. The food is world class & quite simply amazing. The staff are welcoming, down to earth and clearly take pride in their work.I'm an absolute fan & cannot say enough about this fantastic culinary experience..... other than when can I go again!
