The batter was crispy and delicious, and the h... read more My family and I went out to eat at The Rowan Tree. We ordered a children's fish dish, which was cooked perfectly. The batter was crispy and delicious, and the hand-stretched pizza was excellent. The service we received was top-notch. Rachel and Rebecca took great care of us and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be returning.

We were pleasantly surp... read more This lunch stop at The Rowan Tree was a spontaneous decision on our way to Edinburgh for two Australians who had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the great pub atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. The manager even had a friendly chat with my husband about whiskey and recommended some good ones to try while in Scotland. We highly recommend The Rowan Tree, as the Ale Pie and cheesecake were both delicious. Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience.
