The batter was crispy and delicious, and the hand-stretched pizza was excellent. The service we received was top-notch. Rachel and Rebecca took great care of us and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be returning.

We were pleasantly surp... read more This lunch stop at The Rowan Tree was a spontaneous decision on our way to Edinburgh for two Australians who had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the great pub atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. The manager even had a friendly chat with my husband about whiskey and recommended some good ones to try while in Scotland. We highly recommend The Rowan Tree, as the Ale Pie and cheesecake were both delicious. Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience.

Service was quick and the... read more Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the waitress. She was very attentive and looked after us well throughout our dining experience. Service was quick and the food was lovely. I got the sirloin steak and my daughter had the butter/popcorn chicken with fries. Both meals were thoroughly enjoyable and we will definitely be back soon.

We enjoyed a delicious starter, main course, and ended with the delightful Sticky Toffee Pudding. Ty provided excellent service throughout our visit and was a very pleasant young man. This was my first time here, but I hope to return soon. Thank you, Rowan Tree, for a wonderful experience!

As always a happy, friendly atmosphere when you walk in and greeted with a smile From Ty Claire. We got seated at one of our favourite tables! No.2.
