Grumpy staff, took away cups at lunchtime to prevent delegates having coffee. read moreNestled by the picturesque Roadford Lake, this restaurant offers a stunning setting for a meal or afternoon tea. While the views captivate, the dining experience is a mixed bag. Many patrons appreciate the generous portions and freshly cooked meals, particularly praising the desserts. However, criticism often targets the inconsistent service, disorganization, and lack of options for specific dietary needs. Some describe distressing experiences with slow counter service, cold food, or grumpy staff. Despite these issues, the alluring ambiance and friendly staff occasionally win guests back, making it a spot for both delightful treats and scenic walks.
