This was an incredible place to stay. We went for a birthday treat and were not disappointed. The building itself is steeped in history, retaining it's wooden interior. The restaurant is very good indeed. We ate in the purple carrot the chefs tables where you get a live video feed of the kitchen with everything going on! The head chef himself then comes in and presents the dishes! They were all fantastic, and the chef is constantly tweaking the dishes too.

Lovely area and nice sized beds. Really enjoyed my stay and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was really nice but it did take a while for each course to be served... Nearby activities: Nice sailing/kayaking place nearby, as well as national trust sites mean there's stuff to do nearby (about 3 miles) Rooms: 4 Service: 3
