Peter Tavy Inn - West Devon

We have visited a couple of times in October and November. A lovely warm welcome and really great food. Super family meal this weekend. They had run out of pork so I had duck. It was delicious. Highly recommend. We will be back!

We have just been enjoyed a really superb evening and dinner here. The staff were really friendly, chatty and attentive throughout, our meals were delicious and really generous in their portions and given the times we are in I thought the prices pretty standard and fair, so no complaints whatsoever and a great evening thank you.

Beautiful old fashioned pub . In a lovely setting near Tavistock . We only had a light lunch but it was very good and the price was right .

Food is really good and well presented, staff cheerful, polite and helpful. The option for smaller portions of many items on the menu is helpful smaller portions do not mean diet size, just what the average person can eat!. The reason for the lower rating is dogs, dogs, dogs. Perhaps the smaller eating area of the snug could be made dog free.

We should have booked as very popular. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They let us have a drink outside in the car it was raining and my mother was frail) They then called us when a table was free. The roast was delicious, we did not leave a morsel as so tasty. I come here every time in in Dartmoor and it never disappoints.
