Being gluten and garlic intolerant, I was totally impressed by the way the restaurant went out of its way to accommodate. A special dish was prepared for me which was superb. What a wonderful evening! No one leaves here hungry! View all feedback.

Food is really good and well presented, staff cheerful, polite and helpful. The option for smaller portions of many items on the menu is helpful smaller portions do not mean diet size, just what the average person can eat!. The reason for the lower rating is dogs, dogs, dogs. Perhaps the smaller eating area of the snug could be made dog free. View all feedback.
The restaurant offers an excellent vegan menu in addition to their regular menu. The dessert was outstanding. The pub is charming and located on the outskirts of the Moors.
One of the waitresses seemed unhappy, but the others were friendly. The food was disappointing for a Christmas roast. Despite this, my family and I enjoyed the positive atmosphere.
We love this pub. Great well priced food in a friendly countryside pub with lots of nearby Dartmoor walks.

Just enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch here with friends. Everything delicious and service very smooth, even though they were very busy. Best Xmas pudding I have ever tasted! Thank you Chris and Jo.
