Being gluten and garlic intolerant, I was totally impressed by the way the restaurant went out of its way to accommodate. A special dish was prepared for me which was superb. What a wonderful evening! No one leaves here hungry! View all feedback.

Food is really good and well presented, staff cheerful, polite and helpful. The option for smaller portions of many items on the menu is helpful smaller portions do not mean diet size, just what the average person can eat!. The reason for the lower rating is dogs, dogs, dogs. Perhaps the smaller eating area of the snug could be made dog free. View all feedback.
We have visited a couple of times in October and November. A lovely warm welcome and really great food. Super family meal this weekend. They had run out of pork so I had duck. It was delicious. Highly recommend. We will be back!
We have just been enjoyed a really superb evening and dinner here. The staff were really friendly, chatty and attentive throughout, our meals were delicious and really generous in their portions and given the times we are in I thought the prices pretty standard and fair, so no complaints whatsoever and a great evening thank you.
Beautiful old fashioned pub . In a lovely setting near Tavistock . We only had a light lunch but it was very good and the price was right .
The restaurant offers an excellent vegan menu in addition to their regular menu. The dessert was outstanding. The pub is charming and located on the outskirts of the Moors.
One of the waitresses seemed unhappy, but the others were friendly. The food was disappointing for a Christmas roast. Despite this, my family and I enjoyed the positive atmosphere.
