read moreCatalano is a charming spot located a few blocks from the Inner Harbor. While the location and view of the lit up parliament building are fantastic, some diners found the food to be salty and bland. The service ranged from neglectful to warm and friendly, depending on the experience. The restaurant offers Italian-inspired dishes for those looking to escape the usual seaside tourist fare. The brunch menu was particularly praised, and the Christmas dinner buffet received high marks for both food and service. Overall, Catalano seems to have a mixed reputation, with some diners having great experiences while others found it lacking.
